If you want repairs explained clearly, only the work that’s needed, and pricing that stays fair, this is built for your situation—whether you drive domestic or import.
Sousa's Automotive is commonly associated with strong mechanical work and an honest, straightforward approach. Many people come in with a clear worry: not knowing what’s truly necessary, how urgent a repair is, or whether they’re being pushed into extra work. The shop’s approach is to explain what’s needed, share what can wait, and complete the work without adding unnecessary items.
Quality work, honest pricing, and repairs done right the first time.

General auto service and repair starts with the concern, the vehicle’s condition, and its maintenance history. The work may range from routine upkeep to diagnosis and repair of related mechanical or electrical systems.

Car repair addresses a specific mechanical, electrical, safety, or drivability concern after the cause has been assessed. The appropriate repair depends on evidence from inspection and testing, not the symptom alone.

Brake repair begins with an inspection of the parts that create, transfer, and control braking force. The findings determine whether adjustment, maintenance, or component repair is appropriate.

An oil change replaces used engine oil and the filter with products selected for the vehicle. The visit can also provide a limited opportunity to check fluid leaks, the drain area, and items included in the chosen service.

Heating and air-conditioning repair starts by separating airflow, temperature-control, refrigerant, cooling-system, and electrical concerns. Testing determines which system is responsible before repair is recommended.

Engine diagnostics combines the driver’s observations, scan data, operating tests, and targeted checks to identify the cause of a warning light or performance concern.

Transmission repair addresses shifting, engagement, leakage, control, or internal mechanical concerns after the transmission and related systems have been tested. The repair can range from an external correction to internal work or replacement.

Tire services cover inspection, pressure correction, rotation, balancing, puncture assessment, seasonal changeover, and tire replacement as appropriate. Tire condition, wheel condition, and vehicle requirements determine the work.

Winter tire installation prepares a compatible set of seasonal tires and wheels for cold-weather use. Inspection, fitment, pressure, balance, and proper wheel fastening are part of a careful changeover.

Wheel alignment measures and adjusts applicable suspension angles so the wheels track according to vehicle specifications. Tire condition, ride height, steering position, and worn or damaged parts must be considered first.

Battery replacement involves confirming battery condition and starting or charging-system behaviour before installing a compatible unit. Some vehicles also require battery registration, adaptation, or preserved electronic settings.

Radiator and cooling-system repair addresses coolant loss, restricted heat transfer, pressure problems, airflow faults, or damaged components. The source of overheating or leakage should be confirmed before parts are replaced.

Exhaust repair addresses leakage, noise, damaged supports, emissions-control faults, and restricted flow after the affected section is identified. The system includes more than the visible tailpipe.

Suspension repair addresses worn, loose, leaking, bent, or damaged components that affect ride, tire contact, steering response, and vehicle stability. Inspection identifies which parts and related alignment work are appropriate.

An auto inspection documents the condition of the systems included in the requested inspection. It may support maintenance planning, a purchase decision, a regulatory requirement, or diagnosis, but the exact checklist depends on the inspection type.

Preventive maintenance uses vehicle guidance, service history, operating conditions, and current condition to plan upkeep before avoidable wear or fluid deterioration creates a larger concern.

“I am pleased to provide a long overdue review for this excellent auto repair establishment. My family and I have only been going to Sousa's Automotive since 2021, but already I can honestly say they are exceedingly good at what they do and the price for their services is equally impressive. This establishment is not new nor flashy but they impress! They have consistently provided excellent customer service and they do REALLY good work. I have NEVER had a problem with them, or an issue that wasn’t resolved fairly. They work with you to save you money, they tell you how long you can hold off on certain repairs and never force anything on you. They have always done right by me and my family. I have already referred people to them, and I never tell these referrals to mention my name so as to get better service or a better price for myself….because I don’t believe that is possible, they are HONEST. All I want is good, honest, reputable service and that's what you get with Sousa's Automotive. I thought I couldn’t afford a BMW, but with Sousa's Automotive, I can! Not that German cars is all they service, they can repair every make and model, domestic or import. I hope the team that owns/runs this operation never retire because I don’t want to go anywhere else. I’d be afraid to trust anyone else, and that is the God honest truth. Special shout out to owner Joe, and all the reception and mechanics for their hard work and professionalism. Most people dread going to the mechanic like they do the dentist, and though going to the mechanic usually means money is going out of your pocket, at least it is at a fair price and for a job well done. In closing, I have never personally been disappointed nor have I ever had a negative experience and therefore highly recommend them, at least give them a try, you'll be glad you did, cheers!”
