What Locals of London - East London say about Mackensie’s Automotive Inc.

Mackensie’s Automotive Inc. is seen as a trustworthy shop in London for people who want straightforward guidance on what their vehicle actually needs. The situation is often confusing—especially after a high quote elsewhere, a hard-to-pinpoint sensor problem, or when a classic car has been sitting for years and needs careful attention. The approach here is to diagnose first, keep you informed as the issue is tracked down, and focus on the work that’s necessary rather than adding extras.

Quality work, honest pricing, and repairs done right the first time.

Auto Service & Repair

Auto Service & Repair

General auto service and repair starts with the concern, the vehicle’s condition, and its maintenance history. The work may range from routine upkeep to diagnosis and repair of related mechanical or electrical systems.

Learn more
Car Repair

Car Repair

Car repair addresses a specific mechanical, electrical, safety, or drivability concern after the cause has been assessed. The appropriate repair depends on evidence from inspection and testing, not the symptom alone.

Learn more
Brake Repair

Brake Repair

Brake repair begins with an inspection of the parts that create, transfer, and control braking force. The findings determine whether adjustment, maintenance, or component repair is appropriate.

Learn more
Oil Change

Oil Change

An oil change replaces used engine oil and the filter with products selected for the vehicle. The visit can also provide a limited opportunity to check fluid leaks, the drain area, and items included in the chosen service.

Learn more
AC & Heat Repair

AC & Heat Repair

Heating and air-conditioning repair starts by separating airflow, temperature-control, refrigerant, cooling-system, and electrical concerns. Testing determines which system is responsible before repair is recommended.

Learn more
Engine Diagnostics

Engine Diagnostics

Engine diagnostics combines the driver’s observations, scan data, operating tests, and targeted checks to identify the cause of a warning light or performance concern.

Learn more
Transmission Repair

Transmission Repair

Transmission repair addresses shifting, engagement, leakage, control, or internal mechanical concerns after the transmission and related systems have been tested. The repair can range from an external correction to internal work or replacement.

Learn more
Tire Services

Tire Services

Tire services cover inspection, pressure correction, rotation, balancing, puncture assessment, seasonal changeover, and tire replacement as appropriate. Tire condition, wheel condition, and vehicle requirements determine the work.

Learn more
Winter Tire Installation

Winter Tire Installation

Winter tire installation prepares a compatible set of seasonal tires and wheels for cold-weather use. Inspection, fitment, pressure, balance, and proper wheel fastening are part of a careful changeover.

Learn more
Wheel Alignment

Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignment measures and adjusts applicable suspension angles so the wheels track according to vehicle specifications. Tire condition, ride height, steering position, and worn or damaged parts must be considered first.

Learn more
Battery Replacement

Battery Replacement

Battery replacement involves confirming battery condition and starting or charging-system behaviour before installing a compatible unit. Some vehicles also require battery registration, adaptation, or preserved electronic settings.

Learn more
Radiator Repair

Radiator Repair

Radiator and cooling-system repair addresses coolant loss, restricted heat transfer, pressure problems, airflow faults, or damaged components. The source of overheating or leakage should be confirmed before parts are replaced.

Learn more
Exhaust Repair

Exhaust Repair

Exhaust repair addresses leakage, noise, damaged supports, emissions-control faults, and restricted flow after the affected section is identified. The system includes more than the visible tailpipe.

Learn more
Suspension Repair

Suspension Repair

Auto Inspection

An auto inspection documents the condition of the systems included in the requested inspection. It may support maintenance planning, a purchase decision, a regulatory requirement, or diagnosis, but the exact checklist depends on the inspection type.

Learn more
Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance

Mechanics you can trust. You can trust MacKenzie auto to recommend the work that needs to be done. You can trust them to diagnose the problem. You can trust them do the needed work correctly. You can trust them not to sell you unnecessary work. I know this because I’ve been going there for years. They have worked on many of my cars. They have diagnosed warranty problems that the dealership didn’t. They maintained my 1967 Fury for 5 years and it never once left me on the side of the road. They have diagnosed complicated problems with my VW Jetta. I’m a firm believer in only one shop working on my vehicle. I want a mechanic doing the oil change, I want them to look over the car make sure it’s safe and reliable. If something is wrong I want to fix it or at least know about it. Only they work on my car. They have the records and they know the car. All of the mechanics working there are excellent. Taylor, Norm, Don and Julian have all worked on my car and do solid work. Adam at the front counter is great, always finds a spot to fit me in when it’s a crunch. I give this garage a solid recommendation.
