Roddy’s Auto Care is seen as a straightforward, honest place to bring a vehicle when you need the problem identified quickly and explained clearly. People often arrive with urgent drivability or safety concerns—like noise with wheel rotation, steering or suspension issues, or a breakdown—and want to understand what’s happening before committing to repairs. The approach here is to listen to what you’re experiencing, diagnose the issue, walk through options, and focus on fixing the problems identified without pushing unnecessary add-ons.
Quality work, honest pricing, and repairs done right the first time.

General auto service and repair starts with the concern, the vehicle’s condition, and its maintenance history. The work may range from routine upkeep to diagnosis and repair of related mechanical or electrical systems.

Car repair addresses a specific mechanical, electrical, safety, or drivability concern after the cause has been assessed. The appropriate repair depends on evidence from inspection and testing, not the symptom alone.

Brake repair begins with an inspection of the parts that create, transfer, and control braking force. The findings determine whether adjustment, maintenance, or component repair is appropriate.

An oil change replaces used engine oil and the filter with products selected for the vehicle. The visit can also provide a limited opportunity to check fluid leaks, the drain area, and items included in the chosen service.

Heating and air-conditioning repair starts by separating airflow, temperature-control, refrigerant, cooling-system, and electrical concerns. Testing determines which system is responsible before repair is recommended.

Engine diagnostics combines the driver’s observations, scan data, operating tests, and targeted checks to identify the cause of a warning light or performance concern.

Transmission repair addresses shifting, engagement, leakage, control, or internal mechanical concerns after the transmission and related systems have been tested. The repair can range from an external correction to internal work or replacement.

Tire services cover inspection, pressure correction, rotation, balancing, puncture assessment, seasonal changeover, and tire replacement as appropriate. Tire condition, wheel condition, and vehicle requirements determine the work.

Winter tire installation prepares a compatible set of seasonal tires and wheels for cold-weather use. Inspection, fitment, pressure, balance, and proper wheel fastening are part of a careful changeover.

Wheel alignment measures and adjusts applicable suspension angles so the wheels track according to vehicle specifications. Tire condition, ride height, steering position, and worn or damaged parts must be considered first.

Battery replacement involves confirming battery condition and starting or charging-system behaviour before installing a compatible unit. Some vehicles also require battery registration, adaptation, or preserved electronic settings.

Radiator and cooling-system repair addresses coolant loss, restricted heat transfer, pressure problems, airflow faults, or damaged components. The source of overheating or leakage should be confirmed before parts are replaced.

Exhaust repair addresses leakage, noise, damaged supports, emissions-control faults, and restricted flow after the affected section is identified. The system includes more than the visible tailpipe.

Suspension repair addresses worn, loose, leaking, bent, or damaged components that affect ride, tire contact, steering response, and vehicle stability. Inspection identifies which parts and related alignment work are appropriate.

An auto inspection documents the condition of the systems included in the requested inspection. It may support maintenance planning, a purchase decision, a regulatory requirement, or diagnosis, but the exact checklist depends on the inspection type.

Preventive maintenance uses vehicle guidance, service history, operating conditions, and current condition to plan upkeep before avoidable wear or fluid deterioration creates a larger concern.

“I had an amazing experience at roddy's auto care. He is completely honest, Listens, and is super friendly. He also explains things to you and works with you. I have a family member who is a mechanic who came down to help me redo most of the front suspension/steering parts on both sides as well as new calipers and complete front brake job. Unfortunately this was on a Sunday afternoon so i could not get any parts, and 3 days prior my truck got real nasty and started clunking vibrating and grinding with wheel rotation. When we re did the front he immediately noticed that one of the front hub bearing was completely SHOT. and this needed to be fixed ASAP (it could come off anytime). this is my work truck so i could not wait a week for him to come down so the next morning I looked up mechanics near me with good reviews and found roddys auto care I called in and he said he could have a look at it. as soon as I got there he was super friendly, listened and gave me a super upfront fair price. I also mentioned another issue I had and he guessed what it was and that's exactly what it turned out to be he even explained in detail. he asked when i need it done and I explained i need it done asap for work and he told me it will be ready today. he had my truck done in a few hours. Didn't try to lie or upsell me on anything fixed both issues at an insanely fair price and checked around the vehicle for me at my request for any other potential safety hazards. He checked and told me its safe the only issue he seen was a rear brake was a little tight. which ive known for a while as the calipers on the back will need to go soon. A real honest stand up friendly guy who knows what he's doing. If you are looking for someone who is honest friendly helpful and does his best to work with you roddys is the place to go. I have not left a mechanic feeling happy until today. I have only been driving for about 2 years and my run in with mechanics have been awful. I had a real distrust for mechanics and usually just waited until my family member could come take a look and help me fix it. so if your looking for someone who wont screw you over come here. I will only be bringing my truck to roddys and will recommend him to everyone I know.”
