Roadside assistance coordinates on-scene help for a disabled vehicle. The service depends on the location, immediate hazard, vehicle condition, and what can be handled safely at the scene.

Local towing moves a disabled, damaged, or legally authorized vehicle within the surrounding area. Vehicle condition, pickup access, drive configuration, destination, and roadside hazards determine the equipment and loading method. Accurate dispatch details help avoid delays.

Roadside fuel delivery brings a limited quantity of compatible fuel to a stranded vehicle when running out of fuel is the likely concern. Location safety, fuel type, and whether the engine restarts determine the next step.

Vehicle recovery uses controlled rigging and specialized equipment to move a vehicle from a ditch, snowbank, mud, embankment, collision scene, or other position where ordinary towing cannot begin safely.

Battery boosting supplies controlled external power to start a vehicle with a discharged battery when the location and battery condition allow it. A boost does not diagnose why the battery lost charge.

Emergency towing coordinates vehicle removal or transport outside ordinary hours when a breakdown, collision, unsafe location, or urgent obstruction cannot wait. Availability and response depend on dispatch conditions and equipment.

Motorcycle towing transports a disabled or damaged motorcycle using equipment and securement suited to a two-wheel vehicle. Fairing clearance, steering, wheel condition, weight, and tie-down points guide loading.

Underground parking towing addresses disabled vehicles in garages where height, ramps, corners, columns, access controls, and limited working space restrict standard tow equipment.

Car lockout service attempts authorized vehicle entry using a method suited to the lock, door, glass, weather sealing, security system, and key situation. Proof of ownership or authority may be required.

Roadside flat tire service installs a usable spare or arranges transport when a tire cannot support safe travel. Location, wheel damage, spare condition, fasteners, and vehicle equipment determine what can be done on scene.

Long-distance towing transports a vehicle beyond the normal local area using a plan for loading, securement, route, destination access, communication, and handoff. Vehicle condition and transport requirements should be confirmed before dispatch. Both pickup and destination contacts should understand the handoff plan and access requirements.

Winching uses a powered cable or rope system and controlled rigging to move a vehicle that cannot regain traction or reach a tow position. Safe anchors, recovery points, pull direction, and scene conditions are essential.

“It was a very bad day to need a tow, which was the night after we had 56 cm of snow. My car wasn’t on the road. It was just in a parking lot and needed a tow to the mechanic. CAA told me it would be some time within the next 24 hours to get a tow after they stop dealing with emergency on the road or highway calls. Abrams told me two hours and the tow truck driver called me shortly before two hours to say he was on his way to me. When he was halfway to me, he received another call to pull them out to A bad accident which delayed me a bit. Then after finishing that call, there was one more emergency. He ended up getting pulled out too. The driver communicated excellently with me and asked me to call dispatch just so that they can make sure that they’re taking care of me a bit quicker. I followed his recommendation and they put me in touch with someone new. He called me within five minutes, said he would be there within 30 and was. He did an excellent job connecting my Mercedes and towing it to the mechanic. He was very professional and very safe and had excellent communication. So my total time From picking up the phone until the car being dropped off at the mechanic and me having paid and had the receipt was five hours. I managed to get home And make myself something to eat and sit down. I played on my phone for a little bit and then remembered I have to call CAA to cancel their tow which I wasn’t even notified of yet. Given the weather, I am incredibly grateful that this process only took five hours. Abrams made it incredibly easy and they saved me by getting my car to the mechanic in time before they opened which CAA was not able to do if I ever need an emergency tow again I will absolutely call Abrams. Thanks again to all this stuff that helped me.”
