“The team at GA has earned my business for the rest of my vehicle's life! My dealership told me my water pump and thermostat housing were leaking and needed to be replaced (known issues with my model/year), and quoted me over $2k. I wanted a second opinion from an independent specialty garage, and ended up at German Autotech. Pete was attentive and patient while I explained my situation and he eventually got me in so they could have a look. The mechanic completed the inspection, topped up my reservoir, and told me he couldn't see anything wrong so just keep an eye on it for now - bring it back in if I run into any problems. Four months later, still no issues. It's also worth noting that their quote for the same work was 30-40% less than VW's. I suspect the dealership thought they could pull a fast one because my vehicle is long past the typical lifespan of the problem part(s) and I'd simply take them at their word when they said it needed replacement since it's a matter of "when", not "if". The GA team's honesty is most appreciated and I look forward to bringing my car back to them for service in the future!”

Mike was an absolute gem and gave me a great feeling that my car was in good hands. “Had Mike and team do my front-end brakes about 10 years ago. I drive a manual, so they last a while. Today I replaced the brakes and rotors myself, and THANK YOU MIKE. There's grease in all the right places. Nothing over or under torqued. Rotors came apart like butter because he applied antiseize where it was necessary. I barely even needed to clean off any corrosion. Caliper pins never stuck (BMW says to put them in dry (!) but whatever lube Mike applied was perfect). Very even wear on the pads. They even greased the spring clips on the inner pads! That's dedication.”
