John literally saved me at a very critical point of my life with his craftmanship, expertise, and his heart. I was a very exhausted caregiver for my husband after his stroke, I confused the pedals and accidentally pushed acceleration. My Crysler 200 suffered a major bilateral crush at a family driveway right on Easter day, 2025, going in between two other cars, smashing both fences, lamps, and the front bumper. My vehicle’s exterior looked so demolished that our insurance company wrote it off and suggested that I find a replacement. After a month of excruciating and fruitless search for such a vehicle at the money I could afford, I consulted with a mechanic who inspected my Chrysler’s machinery (engine, etc) and told me all was intact. I decided to keep my car, so I needed to find someone who would bring my Chrysler 200’s ruined body back to life. John’s private auto body repair shop was recommended to me by Quarz Auto in Waterloo. John was very approachable and understanding right away. At that, he is very particular and meticulous about any of his projects at hand. He aims at the Perfect, so he makes sure all safety requirements and legislation fall in place before he starts. He definitely makes sure that you are safe in your vehicle on the road after he restores the “face” of your car. “Work for a cause, not for applause”, says the message board in his office, and John precisely follows it. John did a fantastic job on my vehicle that I almost thought I had lost to the accident. He obtained all new parts, the manufacturer’s paint for the rare colour of my vehicle (dark chocolate), all at a very reasonable price. It took John only four days to introduce my truly re-born baby car, chocolate Chrysler 200, to me. He knew that after the insurance payout and no rental car, there were only pricey taxi cabs for me to commute to work, so he completed the extensive repairs really fast. I had my tears of joy and relief close when I saw John’s work of art that I took back home. I could see how busy John’s body shop was. Yet it was due to him and his hard-working team that the timing and the quality were perfect. I could write a book about my amazing experience with John’s shop, because no words can express my gratitude.
