Parking And StoppingStandalone practice
For ordinary parallel parking beside the right curb, how close must the right wheels be?
An empty road beside a right curb. No parked car, tyre location, gap bracket or numeric clearance appears.
Correct answer: Within 50 centimetres
Why
Park parallel to the right curb or road edge with both right wheels no more than 50 centimetres away. The limit is measured from the wheels, not the vehicle’s body or mirrors. Different positioning rules apply where angle parking is permitted.
