Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
A driver under 18 has held a Class G license for two months. No parent or guardian is beside the driver. All proposed passengers are under 18 and none are siblings. What is the usual passenger limit?
Correct answer: No more than one such passenger.
Why
For the first six months while under 18, a Class G driver generally may not carry more than one passenger under 18. The sibling exception applies when the young passengers are the driver’s siblings. The restriction also does not apply with a parent or legal guardian who holds Class A, B, C or D and sits beside the driver. It ends at 18.
