Before entering a roundabout, who has priority?
Blue A approaches the entrance of a roundabout while silver B is in the circulating roadway.
Correct answer: Circulating traffic, and pedestrians and bicyclists in the crosswalk.
Why
Yield to traffic already circulating and to pedestrians and bicyclists in your path. Also yield to a large vehicle entering, exiting or circulating at the same time or closely enough to create a hazard. A large vehicle generally means a truck, bus, emergency vehicle or RV longer than 35 feet or wider than 10 feet. You need not yield to one that is only approaching or let one behind you pass. Read lane controls and leave room for the large vehicle’s path.
