Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
Two vehicles enter an ordinary four-way uncontrolled intersection at approximately the same time. Neither road is a through highway and no officer directs traffic. Which driver must yield?
Blue car A approaches an uncontrolled intersection from the west. Silver car B approaches from the south, on A’s right. They reach the intersection at approximately the same time, with neither already in it. There are no STOP, YIELD or traffic-signal controls. Opposing traffic lanes have two solid yellow lines.
Correct answer: The driver on the left should yield to the driver on the right.
Why
When arrival is simultaneous and no control changes priority, the vehicle on the right proceeds first.
