When making a left turn onto a two-way road, where should the vehicle finish?
The blue car is in the lane just right of the center line on a two-way road, approaching a clear crossroads. The receiving road is also two-way.
Correct answer: In a lane for your direction, right of the center line.
Why
Approach from the extreme left lane lawfully available in your direction. Turn into a lane lawfully available for your direction on the road entered, unless lane markings or signs direct a particular path. Yield to opposing traffic and pedestrians and complete the turn safely. Florida permits a left turn to finish in any safe lawful receiving lane; it does not always require the nearest lane.
