Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
For ordinary parking, not passenger loading or an official exception, how close may a vehicle ordinarily park to a crosswalk at an intersection?
A marked crosswalk extends across a two-way road, with an unoccupied curb on its approach side. This is a detail of the intersection crosswalk; the wider junction is outside the picture.
Correct answer: Not within 20 feet.
Why
For ordinary parking, keep at least 20 feet from a crosswalk at an intersection. Do not park on the crosswalk itself. The statute separately addresses momentary passenger pickup/discharge, traffic conflicts and official directions.
