Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
After a crash involving injury or vehicle damage, what must an involved driver do?
Correct answer: Stop, stay, exchange information and give aid.
Why
Stop at or as close as possible to the crash scene, return if necessary, and remain until the required identification and aid duties are complete. Avoid unnecessary obstruction of traffic and move a vehicle when it is safe and legally appropriate. Give required identifying information, show your license when properly requested, arrange reasonable aid for an injured person, and make the required police report. Do not leave merely to avoid responsibility.
