Traffic Signals & Road MarkingsStandalone practice
You face a steady circular red light and want to turn right. No sign prohibits the turn. What must happen first?
A north-facing blue car approaches a circular red signal in the right lane. The intersection has no turn-prohibition sign.
Correct answer: Stop fully, then yield to traffic and pedestrians
Why
Unless a sign prohibits it, Idaho permits a right turn after stopping at a circular red signal. Yield to pedestrians and traffic using the intersection, and turn only when the path is safe. A red arrow is a different signal and prohibits the indicated movement.
