At an uncontrolled four-way intersection, two vehicles on crossing roads arrive at the same time. Which driver must yield?
Blue car A approaches an uncontrolled intersection from the west. Silver car B approaches from the south, on A’s right. They reach the intersection at approximately the same time, with neither already in it. There are no STOP, YIELD or traffic-signal controls.
Correct answer: The driver on the left must yield to the driver on the right
Why
For simultaneous arrivals at an uncontrolled four-way intersection, the driver on the left yields to the driver on the right. A terminating road at a T intersection has a different rule; road width alone does not give priority.
