What does a single solid white line between same-direction lanes normally mean?
Blue A follows silver B in the right of two eastbound lanes. One solid white line separates the lanes. The opposite carriageway is outside the view.
Correct answer: Lane changes across it are discouraged
Why
A single solid white line discourages lane changes. Keep your lane when possible; if a change is necessary and permitted, check mirrors and blind spots, signal and move only when safe. Double solid white lines have a stricter meaning.
