Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
A curve warning sign has a yellow advisory-speed plaque below it. What does the plaque mean?

Correct answer: A recommended curve speed; go slower if conditions require.
Why
The plaque gives an advisory speed for the curve. Slow before entering the curve and choose a safe speed for the actual conditions. It does not permit exceeding an applicable speed limit, and poor weather or traction can require a slower speed than the advisory value.
