Passing target: 20/25 correct (TLA practice target)
A large truck ahead signals a right turn and moves slightly left to make room for it. What should you do?
At a broad intersection, a long eastbound tractor-trailer has moved left within the eastbound approach to prepare for a wide right turn. The blue car is behind it in the right lane. A curved curb borders the inside of the upcoming turn.
Correct answer: Stay back and out of the space between truck and curb.
Why
Large vehicles can need extra room for a right turn. Their rear wheels do not follow the same wide path as the front. Stay back and do not enter the curbside space, even if the truck first moves left.
