Traffic Signals & Road MarkingsStandalone practice
What should a driver do at a flashing red traffic signal?

Correct answer: Stop completely, then yield and go when safe.
Why
A flashing red signal requires a complete stop at the marked line, or the near crosswalk if there is no line, or before entering the intersection if neither exists. After stopping, obey the same right-of-way rules as at a STOP sign and proceed only when safe.
