Who must accompany a Kentucky motor-vehicle instruction-permit holder during ordinary practice?
Correct answer: A licensed driver age 21 or older beside the learner
Why
During ordinary motor-vehicle practice, the permit holder must be accompanied at all times by a person with a valid operator's license who is at least 21 and seated beside the learner. A narrow exception applies on a multiple-vehicle driving range supervised by an instructor affiliated with a licensed driving school or secondary school. The permit does not otherwise authorize solo practice.
