Traffic Signals & Road MarkingsStandalone practice
Your left-turn arrow is flashing yellow. Oncoming traffic has green and a vehicle is approaching. When may you turn?

Correct answer: After yielding, when there is a safe gap and no pedestrian in the path.
Why
The flashing yellow arrow allows a turn in its direction when an adequate gap exists and no pedestrian is in the path. Yield to oncoming traffic and wait if the turn would interfere with it. Do not confuse a flashing yellow arrow with a protected green arrow.
