Passing target: 8 correct signs and 24 correct rules (TLA practice targets)
A Level 2 driver plans to drive alone at 11 p.m. to visit a friend. The trip is not for employment, an authorized activity or an emergency. Is this permitted?
Correct answer: No; the ordinary Level 2 nighttime restriction applies.
Why
Level 2 ordinarily prohibits driving between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Exceptions include being accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or designated licensed adult age 21 or older, operating in the course of employment or traveling to or from employment or an authorized activity. Authorized activities have specific statutory categories; an ordinary social visit is not automatically one.
