Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
A median crossover has no markings showing two turn lanes. It appears wide enough for two cars side by side. How should you treat it?
Correct answer: As a single-lane crossover.
Why
The handbook says to treat an unmarked median crossover as a single lane. Extra width may accommodate large vehicles’ turning radius. A multilane Michigan Left has markings such as arrows, ONLY lettering and lane lines showing the two turning paths.
