Freeways & High-Speed RoadsStandalone practice
You are already on a freeway and see a vehicle approaching from an entrance ramp. What is a safe way to cooperate?
Correct answer: Adjust your speed or move over a lane when it is safe.
Why
Cooperate when it is safe by adjusting speed or changing lanes to provide room. Check mirrors, the blind spot and traffic before a lane change. Do not brake abruptly or force another vehicle out of its lane. The entering driver still must yield and select a safe gap.
