Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Maria has had her provisional license for three months. At 12:30 a.m. she wants to drive home from a friend's party. Her only passenger is her 22-year-old cousin, who has a valid license. May she drive?
Correct answer: No, because a licensed driver with her must be at least 25
Why
Night driving is riskier for new drivers because of darkness, tiredness and impaired drivers on the road. The night limit applies only in the first six months of the provisional license. A provisional driver also may not use a cell phone while driving, even with a hands-free device.
