Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You are on a two-lane, two-way road and see this sign. What does it tell you about the road ahead?

Correct answer: A median or barrier will soon separate your lane from oncoming traffic
Why
On a divided road, Missouri law requires you to drive to the right of the median. Left turns and U-turns across the median are allowed only at an intersection, an interchange or a signed crossing point. The median lowers the risk of head-on crashes, but you may need to drive farther before you can turn around.
