Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane highway, you see this sign on the left side of the road. What does it mean?

Correct answer: A no-passing zone begins here, so do not start a pass
Why
No-passing zones are on hills and curves where you cannot see far enough ahead to pass safely, and they are usually also marked with a solid yellow line on your side. The pennant usually stands on the left side of the road, where you look when you plan a pass. Even without signs or markings, never pass unless you can see that the road is clear for the whole distance you need.
