What is the lowest number of points on a Missouri driving record within 18 months that leads to a license suspension?
Correct answer: 8 points
Why
Points are added only after a conviction for a moving violation. A first point suspension lasts 30 days, a second 60 days and a third or later 90 days, and a revocation follows 12 points in 12 months, 18 in 24 months or 24 in 36 months. Each year of driving without new points reduces the remaining total.
