Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
Your adult passenger wants to take home a half-finished bottle of wine from a restaurant. Your car has a trunk. Where may the bottle be carried?
Correct answer: In the trunk
Why
Montana makes it an offense to knowingly have an open alcoholic beverage container in the passenger area of a vehicle on a highway. An open container may ride in a locked glove or storage compartment, in the trunk or cargo area, or, in a vehicle with no trunk, behind the last upright seat. A bottle whose original seal is unbroken, with nothing poured out, does not count as open.
