Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You see this yellow sign on a rural highway at dusk. What should you do?

Correct answer: Watch closely for deer, slow down if you see one, and expect more to follow.
Why
Animals are most active around sunrise and sunset, and deer and elk usually travel in groups. Montana also uses cattle crossing and RANGE CATTLE signs; the second one means there are no fences and livestock may be on the road. If a crash with an animal cannot be avoided, brake and do not swerve sharply.
