Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
While you parallel park on a city street, you dent a parked car. No one is in it, and the owner is not in sight. What must you do?
Correct answer: Stop, give your name and address to the owner or in a secure note, and tell the police
Why
Put the note where the owner will find it and fasten it so it cannot blow away. The handbook also advises giving your driver license number, registration and insurance information. If your car blocks traffic and can be moved safely, move it out of the lanes first. Leaving without doing these things is a crime.
