Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
You got your Nevada driver's license at age 16, three months ago. Which passenger may you carry?
Correct answer: Your 15-year-old brother, because he is a member of your immediate family.
Why
Young passengers can distract a new driver and add pressure to take risks. For that reason, Nevada limits passengers under 18 to immediate family for the first 6 months of licensed driving (NRS 483.2523). After those 6 months the passenger limit ends, but the 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew continues until age 18.
