How can a driver measure a following interval?
Two vehicles travel along the same lane, with blue A behind silver B. The roadside is unmarked.
Correct answer: Count seconds as both pass a fixed point
Why
Choose a fixed roadside point. Start counting when the rear of the vehicle ahead passes it; stop when the front of your vehicle reaches it. Leave at least three seconds in good conditions and more when needed.
