Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You are driving at 55 mph on a two-lane highway and see this sign, with a smaller yellow plate below it that shows 35 MPH. What should you do?

Correct answer: Slow to about 35 mph before you enter the curve.
Why
The advisory speed is for good conditions, so go slower when the road is wet, icy or gravel-covered or when it is dark. Do all your braking on the straight road before the curve, and then keep a steady speed through it. Driving too fast through a curve is one of the most common errors of new drivers.
