Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You drive on a state route inside a town, outside the business district, and pass this sign. The road is dry, and traffic is light. What is the highest speed at which you may drive?

Correct answer: 35 mph, because that is the posted limit for good conditions
Why
Posted limits assume a dry road, good visibility, and normal traffic. In rain, fog, or heavy traffic, Ohio law requires a lower speed that lets you stop within the clear distance ahead. Where no other limit is posted, Ohio sets limits by road type, for example 25 mph on most town streets and 15 mph in alleys.
