Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You see this yellow diamond sign that shows a car with two wavy tire tracks behind it. What does the sign warn you about?

Correct answer: The road surface ahead can become slippery when it is wet
Why
When you see this sign, slow down before the area, keep more space ahead, and brake and steer gently. Roads are most slippery just after rain starts, because the first drops mix with oil and dirt on the pavement. On a wet road, the tires can also hydroplane: they ride on the water and lose their grip.
