Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You pass this yellow diamond sign that shows a black truck on a downward slope. The road ahead goes steeply downhill for a long way. What should you do?

Correct answer: Shift to a lower gear and control your speed before the downgrade
Why
Slow down before the top of the hill, because it is harder to lose speed once you go down. Oklahoma law forbids coasting down a grade with the gears in neutral or with the clutch pedal pushed in. Watch for slow trucks on the hill, and pass only where it is legal and safe.
