Jordan turns 15 today and wants to start learning to drive in Oregon. What may he apply for?
Correct answer: A Class C instruction permit now, because he has reached the permit age of 15
Why
The instruction permit lets a new driver practice with a licensed driver who is at least 21 and who sits in the seat beside the learner. A driver under 18 must hold the permit for at least six months before applying for a license. For most applicants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the application.
