Passing target: 83.3% (15/18)
After you change lanes, an angry driver tailgates you, flashes the high beams and keeps following you for several miles. You are near your home. What should you do?
Blue car A travels to the right while silver car B follows closely with flashing high beams. The cards state that B has followed A for several miles after an earlier lane change and that A is near home.
Correct answer: Drive to a police station or a busy store where you can get help.
Why
Road rage often starts with a small misunderstanding, so do not take another driver's mistake personally. Never try to teach another driver a lesson: a contest on the road takes your attention away from signals, traffic and pedestrians. Let an aggressive driver pass, do not block the passing lane and do not speed up to compete. Aggressive driving is linked to about 60 percent of Pennsylvania's highway deaths.
