For private Class 5 practice in Quebec, what is the minimum experience required of the accompanying driver as a fully licensed driver?
Correct answer: Two years
Why
The minimum is two years of experience as a fully licensed driver. Time spent holding a probationary licence does not by itself qualify someone to accompany a learner. The accompanying driver must also hold a valid Quebec Class 5 licence and be able to help from the seat beside the learner.
