Passing target: 75% in each of the three areas
You are involved in a collision in Québec. No one is injured, and both drivers are present. What information must you provide to the other person involved?
Two drivers’ cars are present after a collision. The illustrated example has no injuries and both cars are drivable.
Correct answer: Your name, address, licence number, owner’s details, insurance and plate.
Why
Remain at the scene or return immediately and provide any necessary assistance. Give the other person involved your name and address, driver’s licence number, the owner’s name and address, insurance certificate and plate number. If someone is injured, you must also call a peace officer. A no-injury collision does not remove the duty to identify yourself.
