Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
This sign is posted on all four approaches to an intersection. You come to a stop. A moment later, a second vehicle stops on your right. Which vehicle should go first?
Correct answer: Your vehicle, because the earlier arrival has the right of way.
Why
At three- and four-way stops, the first vehicle that stops should be given the right of way. The remaining drivers then yield to the driver on their right. Even when it is your turn, you must yield to vehicles and pedestrians in the intersection and go only when it is safe.
