Your car has airbags. What does that change about wearing your seatbelt on an ordinary trip with no exemption?
Correct answer: You must still wear it properly, because airbags add to its protection.
Why
Airbags work with seatbelts. Wear the complete belt, properly adjusted and fastened, even when the car has front and side airbags. The belt helps keep you in the seating position where an airbag can protect you in a collision. Do not base belt use on an assumed impact speed or on whether you expect an airbag to deploy.
