Passing target: 20 correct signs and 20 correct rules
You are in the lane under this overhead sign and you want to turn right at the next intersection. What should you do?

Correct answer: Change to a lane that permits a right turn before the intersection, when it is safe.
Why
An overhead lane-designation sign is centred over the lane it controls. This sign permits straight travel or a left turn from that lane. To turn right, change to a lane that permits it before the intersection: signal, check your mirror and blind spot, and complete the change before you enter the intersection. If you cannot change lanes safely, continue in a permitted direction.
