Your car and another car collide at an intersection. The other driver says that her neck hurts. Your car can still be driven. What must you do?
Correct answer: Move your car out of traffic if you can, call the police, and stay until they talk to you
Why
South Dakota law requires every driver in a crash with injury or property damage to stop, give name, address, owner and plate information, and give reasonable help to anyone who is hurt. A crash with an injury, or with apparent damage of $1,000 to one person's property or $2,000 in total, must be reported to the police at once. At the scene, turn off the engines of the damaged cars, use flares to warn traffic, and do not stand in the traffic lanes.
