Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
You drive your father's car and scrape a parked, empty car in a store parking lot. You look for its owner but cannot find anyone. Which note must you leave on the damaged car?
Correct answer: Your name and address, your father's name and address as the owner, and how it happened.
Why
If you hit an unattended vehicle, stop at once. You may either find its owner or driver and give the names and addresses, or leave the written note. Driving away without doing one of these is a crime. The manual lists your own name and address; the law also requires the owner's name and address when you drive another person's car.
