Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
A driver cuts sharply in front of you, and then honks and shouts at you at the next traffic light. What should you do?
Correct answer: Stay calm, do not respond, and let the driver go ahead and away from you.
Why
Aggressive drivers speed, weave, follow too closely, cut other drivers off, and yell or honk. These acts are illegal and can lead to tickets or worse, but your job is to stay safe, not to punish the other driver. If you feel angry or upset, give yourself time to calm down before you drive on. When you leave a few minutes early, you are also less likely to speed or take risks.
