Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Because of your vision screening result, your license is restricted to daylight driving. During which hours may you drive?
Correct answer: From half an hour after sunrise to half an hour before sunset
Why
Virginia issues a daylight-only license to drivers whose vision meets a lower standard, for example 20/70 in one or both eyes with a narrower field of vision. A license with no daylight limit needs 20/40 vision in one or both eyes and a wider field of vision. If you need glasses or contact lenses to pass the screening, you must wear them whenever you drive.
