Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Within one year, a driver gets tickets for moving violations on three separate occasions. What does the Department of Licensing do?
Correct answer: It suspends the license, and the driver must finish a safe driving course
Why
The suspension is 60 days, followed by one year of probation; a new moving violation during probation adds another suspension. Since 1 April 2026, a driver who completes the safe driving course can end the suspension early, but only once in five years. Several tickets from one traffic stop count as one occasion.
