Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You drive in the right lane of a road with two lanes that go the same way. A yellow diamond sign shows the right lane line bending into the left lane. What should you do?

Correct answer: Look for a safe gap and move left, because your lane ends ahead
Why
A lane-ending sign gives you time to merge without a sudden stop or swerve. If the left lane is ending, the symbol is reversed. Drivers in the lane that continues should be ready to adjust their speed to let merging traffic in. The law allows you to leave your lane only after you make sure that the move is safe.
